Mr. S. Saravanan serves as Assistant Professor and Head of the MBA Department at AVS College of Technology, Salem. He holds an MBA in Finance and Human Resource Management and a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering, both completed with distinction. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in Management Studies at Periyar University, Salem.

His teaching and research interests include Business Research Methods, Operations Management, Finance, Human Resource Management, Green HRM, and sustainable business practices. He has presented 27 research papers at national and international conferences and published 13 research articles in national and international journals. He has actively participated in faculty development programmes (FDPs), seminars, and workshops, and delivered 11 presentations in paper presentation, technical modelling, and debate events.

He has completed 12 online professional courses in management, research, sustainability, psychology, and teaching practices. Proficient in SPSS, AMOS, JASP, Jamovi, and Power BI, he has guided more than 90 MBA students in their academic projects. He is a lifetime member of the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) and the Commerce and Management Association of India (CMAOI). He has also served as a reviewer for an international conference, for Scopus-indexed proceedings, and has organized several academic events, workshops, seminars, and international conferences.

He is committed to promoting academic excellence, industry collaboration, research, innovation, entrepreneurship, and ethical leadership to develop future-ready management professionals.
